Sudurpaschim Royals have added more firepower to their batting line-up ahead of Season 3 of the Nepal Premier League. Pakistani batter Haider Ali is set to join the Royals for the upcoming edition.
The former Pakistan international is known for his explosive batting and aggressive stroke play, with the ability to swing a match in just a few overs. His arrival is expected to give the Royals a fearless option at the top of the order as they chase the title.
Sudurpaschim finished as runners-up last season, losing the final to Lumbini Lions, and the two sides meet again in the tournament opener on October 26, a rematch of the 2025 final.
The signing follows the ICC’s official sanction of NPL Season 3, which allows each franchise to sign up to eight overseas players. The tournament runs from October 26 to November 21 at TU International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
