The Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026 is set to be played from 26 October to 21 November 2026. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed the window, with the season beginning the day after the Dashain full moon and running through Tihar.

This is a shift from the previous two seasons, which were held later in Mangsir, after Tihar.

Each team plays every other team in the league stage before the top four progress to the playoffs.
Why NPL 2026 Moved Earlier
NPL Seasons 1 and 2 were played in Mangsir, after the festival period. Season 3 starts in Kartik, immediately after Dashain, and runs across Tihar.
The change fits around Nepal’s international commitments — the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series in Oman falls in October, and men’s and women’s international series are scheduled for December.
