Karnali Yaks are on a signing spree. Just hours after confirming Hussain Talat and David Miller, the franchise has landed Pakistan’s T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan for Nepal Premier League Season 3.
The right-handed opener arrives in Nepal on the back of a record-breaking 2026 T20 World Cup. Farhan finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 383 runs, including two centuries, establishing himself as one of the most in-form top-order batters in world cricket.
A powerful top order
Farhan’s arrival gives Karnali a high-quality option at the top of the innings. Combined with Miller’s finishing power in the lower order and Talat’s all-round ability, the Yaks now have a squad packed with international experience from top to bottom.
Title intent from Karnali
Three big overseas signings in a single day send a clear message: Karnali Yaks are serious about challenging for the trophy this season. With the ICC’s sanction allowing franchises to sign up to eight foreign players, the Yaks are making the most of the opportunity.
NPL Season 3 begins on October 26 at TU International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, and runs until November 21.
