Pokhara Avengers have gone back to Bangladesh for yet another signing. Bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin will play for the franchise in the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The 29-year-old is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and left-handed batter, known for his skill with the ball at the death and his useful hitting in the lower order.

- Bangladesh Premier League: 76 matches, 2043 runs plus 96 wickets
Pokhara’s Bangladesh connection
Saifuddin becomes the third Bangladeshi in Pokhara’s squad, joining marquee star Shakib Al Hasan and fellow all-rounder Mahedi Hasan. Along with Sri Lanka’s Chamika Karunaratne and Dhananjaya Lakshan, the Avengers now have one of the deepest all-round overseas groups in the competition.
His pace bowling also adds balance to an attack that leans heavily on spin through Shakib and Mahedi, giving captain Kushal Bhurtel and head coach Ajantha Mendis more options as they chase a first-ever playoff spot.
Pokhara open their NPL Season 3 campaign against Sudurpaschim Royals on October 28 at TU International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
